Modern anti-cheat software vendors issue hardware bans, such as Easy Anti-cheat, BattlEye, Vanguard, FACEIT, Ricochet, etc. These bans are sometimes referred to as or bans. After a ban occurs, the user cannot simply create a new account and carry on. Careful steps must be taken to bypass these bans.
These bans have multiple sophisticated techniques for tracking the user between bans. To fully bypass a ban, you must understand which techniques these anti-cheat vendors deploy to track the PC.
These bans are flags that automatically target the PC. They are stored on the anti-cheat vendor's servers within the cloud and cannot be removed.
Your PC's hardware, such as the hard drive, network card, monitor, motherboard, CPU, video card, etc., has MAC addresses. These addresses are hard-coded into the device and are not designed to be changed. Thus, this is a consistent and reliable way to track users and issue bans that stick and can be difficult to bypass. This is what is flagged.
These are known as hardware or hardware identifier (HWID) bans.
Some anti-cheat vendors will also deploy trace files into your system. Because these vendors are given explicit permissions to run at a very deep level within your PC, they can leave trace (also known as tracking) files within your system that can be difficult to remove. These trace files, much like flagged hardware (MAC addresses), aren't easy to locate and, in most cases, are embedded within the operating system itself - meaning, essentially, they cannot be deleted.
The easiest & quickest option is to use the clean function of our hardware anonymizer/spoofer.
Depending on the game, you can try using a tool like Revo Uninstaller to remove the game. Revo Uninstaller deletes every file related to a specific piece of software, and so, in some cases, it may remove some or all of the game's trace files left behind. This method is not very reliable, but may work.
Reinstall Windows by formatting the hard drive entirely.
This is known as a clean install of Windows. This will remove all trace files. However, it does not clear flags.
While IP bans are unreliable, some anti-cheat vendors opt for this method. Your PC has an address, much like a house. When an anti-cheat vendor bans the IP address, you cannot play. However, you can bypass IP bans easily using a VPN.
The easiest way to bypass all bans is to use a hardware anonymizer, also known as a spoofer. These tools scramble your hardware identifiers (MAC addresses, among other identifiers) to act like a VPN or "proxy" to hide your PC from the flags.
Some spoofers, such as ours, deploy other additional mechanisms to help mitigate bans.
Temporary hardware anonymizers, or spoofers, work (as the name suggests) temporarily. They revert their changes when the PC is rebooted.
Temporary spoofers are the least invasive and safest way to spoof. They will not affect the licensing of the software you use, Windows, or the hardware's functionality.
We always suggest using a temporary spoofer.
Permanent anonymizers are typically a one-time use, permanent solution for spoofing. These will permanently change the MAC addresses and other identifiers of the PC.
The downside of permanent spoofers is that they can cause permanent issues with your hardware. MAC addresses aren't designed to be permanently altered; by doing so, you introduce irreversible changes to your PC's hardware.
For this reason, we never recommend using a permanent anonymizer.
Creating a new account is the first step to bypassing a ban. However, you cannot just make a new account in most cases.
Because your PC is flagged, if you do not carefully remove all traces, use a hardware anonymizer tool, and use a VPN, this new account will be created with a flag. This means you can be randomly banned, even without cheats, after a random amount of time.
You can purchase a pre-made account from an account vendor marketplace such as PlayerAuctions or Eldorado for as little as $1 USD.
Alternatively, you can create a new account and verify using a service such as TextVerified. Ensure you are using a VPN and have cleaned traces with a spoofer.
