Troubleshooting

Common issues with the hardware anonymizer (spoofer).

Vulnerable Driver Already Running

  1. Press the Windows key

  2. Type cmd, click run as administrator

  3. Type net stop "NAL"

  4. Type sc config "NAL" start= disabled

  5. Delete spoofer-config.json

PC crashes &

Bluescreen issues typically happen due to a software conflict between the HWID spoofer and your PC.

Common reasons

  • Using an unsupported Windows version, the spoofer currently supports the following:

    • Windows 10 x64 build 2004 through build 22H2

    • Windows 11 x64 build 21H2 through build 24H2

You should also:

  • Uninstall all third-party

  • Uninstall all third-party

  • Disable Windows Defender using Sordum Defender Control (password: sordum)

  • MSI Lightning software has been reported to cause issues

If none of these troubleshooting steps work, please:

  1. Create a Windows USB

  2. Format your Windows installation drive from the USB (typically the C:\ drive)

  3. Install Windows
